Senior Support Worker

We are looking for senior support workers who have over 3 years of experience .

Requirements (must haves)
  • Flexible and able to work a full day, night or weekend shift
  • Preferably have a driving license but it’s not essential.
  • Flexibility in being able to assist with full day or night shifts.
  • Driving license applications preferred, however, it is not essential.
Responsibilities
  • Assisting with medication & shopping.
  • Supporting clients with attending appoints to a range of service e.g. doctors, specialists or benefits.
  • Cleaning and other daily household duties.
  • Supporting positive behaviour to help create lasting change.
  • Sitting & companionship services.
Requirements (must haves)
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and be able to read, write and communicate strongly in English. (CEFR level B1).
  • Applicants must have NVQ/RQF Level 3 or equivalent (A level or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience working with people with health & Mental disabilities and older people
  • Knowledge and use of clinical assessment tools
  • Understand care planning processes and have experience of writing care plans
  • Experience of leading a shift)

Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care & support at a senior level
  • Shadowing & training new care support workers
  • Monitoring care workers & home carers
  • Leading shifts when on duty
  • Responding to emergencies & providing guidance and support to care workers
  • Assist service users to dress, undress, wash, use the toilet, bathe along with preparing meals and undertaking of daily routine activities e.g. bills
  • Proactively stimulating service user with interest and activities
  • Monitoring conditions & contributing to care record keeping.
  • Liaising with care workers to carry out care plans and working with managers to ensure rotas are covered and organised.
