OUR STORY

Anchor Community Support was founded on a simple mission; to change the lives of individuals in our community.

Changing the lives of those who suffer from learning disabilities, mental illness and other independence-limiting conditions.
We recruit those who share an incredible passion for this cause and who guide those suffering in the right direction of long lasting change.
We strengthen this with housing that is safe, secure and feels like home.
Providing stability, hope and security allowing for peace of mind and recovery.

Our Values

Responsibility

Anchor Community Support provides a supported living house that can be called a home for those who are vulnerable, support workers committed to creating change regardless of an individual disability or condition and the most rigorous attention to detail to ensure the highest standards. We take full responsibility for this and every aspect of caring for those who require a lifeline.

Compassion

Anchor Community Support help to tackle mental health issues, learning disabilities and all conditions with understanding, compassion and qualified support workers who have come from every background in life to curate a caring environment that improves health outcomes. A person-centred approach and outstanding training allow for better reliability and allow for our service users to feel that someone truly understands the issue at hand.

Safety

Anchor Community Support provides high quality, personable care in safe housing that is secure, offering around the clock service so that our service users can remain independent whilst enjoying the comfort and privacy of their own home.

Shared Support

For those who require shared housing. We offer comfortable accommodation staffed by compassionate & understanding support workers who help to provide as much or as little support & supervision that the individual requires in order to alleviate the problem at hand. Our shared housing is safe, secure and comfortable environment, which is staffed by those who operate at the highest level of professionalism. All of whom share a passion for enabling individuals with complex conditions to live harmoniously, manage day to day activities to help reduce stress and increase recovery & provide them with the understanding and support to help them flourish in life.

One-to-One Support

One-to-one support provides additional care where it is needed, which is often provided in tandem with shared support to create the best experience.

Specialist Care

Our care team have undergone extensive specialist training to cater for the widest range of conditions, we can also source additional training as required.

Temporary Short Term Support

Individuals who have complex needs may benefit from the support of those closest around. When emergencies occur in the family, an important trip business trip arises, or some other event that means a short break in care is best, we can offer temporary support, which helps to alleviate the stresses this causes.
